Truth in Comedy...
Although this title may be misleading, because there are many things that are really true that are found in stand-up comedy routines, but this is a particular one that stood out to me today.
This comedian I saw recently said, "The problem with these makers of kids movies using older songs in the kids movies is that the kids will think that the song originally comes from that movie."
As I was sitting in the movie theatres watching the previews before my movie started, there was a preview of a movie coming out soon with Asthon Kuchner (spelling? and bernie Mac about this black girl who brings her white boyfriend home, and the parents are all confused, etc... Anyhow, in the car while Ashton and Bernie are there, they turn on the radio and the song "Ebony and Ivory, something something in harmony" that song came on..... sure enough, some kid behind me says to her mommy or daddy, "That's the song from Racing Stripes." I just wanted to turn around and set the kid musically straight, but I refrained.

I'm slacking...
Yes, I know, I am slacking on writing this blog... but I have a correspondence class that i need to hammer out by February 18th in order to graduate on time... so, ya, have to hammer that out, so when I do writing it's for that class, and have no passion to write, especially for the blog, after working on that, so ya...
So, kind of weird, and I wanna know who it is... someone who reads my blog also reads the college dr. girls' blog, and noticed one of the girls in a class and pointed out that they saw her through my blog, by following the link to her blog.... kind of weird... I am just curious to know who it is...
ANyhow, that's all.... I am going to go see 2 movies tomorrow, well, i guess, today... "Are We There Yet" starring Ice Cube, I am going to go see with my little brother from big brothers big sisters .... then at night I am going to go see Hide and Seek with my roommate... I am looking forward to 2 movies...

Writin' at work...
Well, I have a few minutes to waste here at work, so I am going to actually post on my blog.... I know, it's a shocker... but, hey, I haven't been on the computer much, and when I am, I am doing homework or downloading songs, so i am not really thinking about writing on my blog.
Tonight I am hopefully going to get some good Carne Asada, grill that, and then make some taco rice, mmmmm.... it'll be a very yummy dinner.... then maybe DQ it up for dessert.... we'll see, I'll be doing homework and laundry after eating, so we'll see how it goes.
School is okay.... my golf class seems like it'll be pretty cool. My history of dance 2 class is interesting and should be as easy as history of dance 1. My two online classes seem like they won't be too bad either. My Sex/Crime/Media class will be cool.... we get to watch some of The Shield, Usual Suspects, Training Day, and other good movies, so it should be pretty cool.
Kind of weird... my roommate's last name is Adams also.... and her name is Jennifer, just like my sister.... and her mom's name is Virginia, just like my mom..... kind of weird, but i guess not really, based on the popularity of those names.... so ya.
That's my life.... peace!

Back to school...
Well, it's my last semester of school.... crazy, I know. It seems like it has just flown by. People always said "As you get older, the time seems to fly by faster and faster. Although I didn't believe them, I am definitely witnessing it right now... it's crazy!!
My classes are alright... nothing special... All teachers I've had before except one of my online classes and my golf class, so ya... No biggie there.
I just have to be sure to stay on top of my two online classes, but other than that, this semester should be pretty easy.
On another note, I have reached 1,100 visitors.... thanks guys for continually visiting, and I will really try hard to write daily, but I can't guarentee that that will happen.

Sorry guys
Hey guys... sorry, it's been a long week...
I got another job, and was working there all days on my days off from my other job.... crazy crazy... but the money is good...
Speaking of money... I am loving roulette and blackjack... I've been winning too... it's pretty nice... the roulette table was packed, so I played a little craps... I won myself a nice $15 while waiting for roulette... I won other people some nice money... I threw an 11... won myself some money... through a had 10 (5/5) and won some nice money... it was good.
I've watched a lot of movies ... i forget if i blogged about that... School starts Tuesday... craziness, my last semester in college.
Anyhow, I'll be going to Bully's after church and watchin' the Colts/Patriots game with Blake... should be fun... and I am excited to eat some Bully's wings... yummy.

YOU'RE KILLING ME SMALLS!!!!
So, I am reading about who played what characters on the movie "The Sandlot" that i am currently watching while writing this, and I came across this thing saying that they are making a Sandlot 2, and possibly, a Sandlot 3 and 4.... I AM SOOOOOOOOOOO PISSED! Why do they keep ruining classics... I am too pissed to write... but ya, be on the lookout.
I've Been Away
Actually, I haven't been away, I've just been way lazy... I haven't been busy... just way lazy.
I see that I have finally passed the 1,000 visitors mark... thanks guys, although probably 150+ or more of those are me, but still, it's a pretty nice milestone.
No one is leaving messages on my tagboard.... it's very easy guys... you can just say hi... start a debate, so anything... just write on there....
Anyhow, "Boy Meets World" is on, and "Yes, Dear" is coming on... I love you all.... it's snowing like crazy in Reno, and I even hear it's snowing in vegas, which is crazy too...

Wild Wild West...
I am watching Fresh Prince of Bel Air.... and Will Smith was making fun of Kool Mo Dee for singing "Wild Wild West" ..."Did anyone really believe that he was a cowboy?" Coming from the guy who will eventually sing a song and star in a movie both by the name of "Wild Wild West..."
Very, very interesting.
On another note...since I have barely played Xbox since like September, I have been making up lost time by playing 5-6 hours at a time... gotta love break!

Finally... a new post...
It's been a long time since I've written.... but not many people have been visiting my blog over the holiday season anyway, so I guess it evens itself out... it's not that I've been busy, it's just that I've been extremely lazy...
A lot of TV watching, and hanging out with some friends while I was in Vegas.... I got back to Reno just in time to be covered in snow... shoveling out parking spaces, getting stuck in the snow while driving, lkeaving my window partially open right before the big storm, have all been parts of my fun experiences these last few days...
I got a new roommate... she seems pretty cool... quiet, but cool, but that's better than the stupid annoying roommate we had that got evicted because she didn't pay her rent... so, yah... she should be cool... her name's Jenny, and as she was moving in, her dad stopped by my room and said "If you ever wanna piss her off, call her "fer" cuz she hates it." Lol, I found it awesome that her dad encouraged us to piss her off... so great!
Anyhow, church was cancelled today because the parking lot at the school we meet at has about 2-3 feet of snow everywhere.... So, I am just going to sit, relax, and enjoy myself today...
