Sorry...

Hey guys.... sorry, I just haven't felt like sitting downand writing a blog post while I've been here in Vegas.... I have thought about it a few times, but just haven't done it... actually, I did write one a few days ago, but it didn't post for whatever reason.... blogger.com was being dumb...

Anyhow, I have finished a rap... I just need to edit it and stuff and hope to have it recorded by the end of January... so, look forward to that...

Anyhow, it's 3:45am, so I prolly should head to bed...peace!

Ref's Suck

Yah, if you've ever watched sports with me, you'll know my disdain for refs is extremely high, but at tonight's Midnight hockey game, they were exceptionally bad....after a blatant breakaway trip without a call, the called Vegas for a check which they labeled elbowing, causing the other team to get a goal to tie the game, and eventually win in a shootout.... ooooo, I was pissed.

But, other than that, it was a fun game.... for the 2nd and 3rd periods there was some open seats i nthe front row and I had never been directly against the glass before at a hockey game, so I definitely enjoyed myself.... I was banging on the glass like crazy... my thumbs are bruised from all of the banging... haha

I also randomly ran into Bekah there... someone, until just a few days ago, hadn't talked to in almost 2 years, and i saw her sign online after losing her IM screenname for so long, and what not, and she happened to be at the game. I saw her in line, but I only saw her from the back, and she looked like my old roommate's ex girlfriend, but I could tell by the voice it wasn't but didn'trecognize it as Bekah's voice.... but then it was time to order my food, so when food is coming, I am very distracted, but she saw me and said "R.J.!" and so I found out where she was sitting, and we chatted and stuff..... she's a really cool girl.... down to earth, beautiful, in love with God...

Anyhow, I have no voice and it's early in the morning... I should prolly try to get some sleep..... peace!

St...st...st....stuttering

So, in my search (a very passive one I might add) for mainstream stuttering, I came across an old commercial that had stuttering in it... you may know it...

Ch-ch-ch-Chia! Ch-ch-ch-Chia!

But, Chia pets were never really high on the cool scale anyhow, so I have a range of stuttering coolness with 50 cent on the "stutters but is still cool" side and Chia Pet commercials on the "stutters and not cool" side...

More on this story at 11....

Wait, it is 11...

Oh well, more later!

g-g-g-g-g G-unit!

So, as I was at work, listening to Eminem's song "Encore" w/ Dr. Dre and 50 cent, and 50 said his signature phrase "g-g-g-g-g-g G-unit!" I began to wonder when stuttering became cool... I mean, seriously, back in earlier schooling when I had a stuttering problem, it definitely wasn't cool... but now some rapper stutters and it's cool. Oh well, it's one of those enigmas in life...

Another one of life's enigmas: girls... I still like Shane's quote: "If only I could figure out girls as quick as I can figure out a Rubik's cube."

P.S. Some girl who doesn't wanna talk to me, keeps checking my blog here ... she claims in her journal she doesn't know why, but I think it's just to see if she's mentioned... so, here's ya go missy!

My Fridge Smells Bad...

So, yah... my fridge smells extremely awful... and instead of trying to find out the cause one of my very intelligent roommates puts a "Fridge Odor Remover" Arm and Hammer baking soda thing in there hoping that it eliminates the smell...

So, some may ask... "Hey R.J., why don't you try to find out what is causing the odor?"

My reply: Laziness

Time again...

I guess it's time again to blog... it's been a few days.

Today I went and hung out with my little brother from the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program... it was a really good time. We went bowling, and it was his second time ever bowling and he got two strikes! I was happy, and he was very happy! We're definitely going to be going there again! We also went to Cold Stone and ate ice cream... I got a large Sweet Cream ICe Cream w/ brownies and a a Reese's Cup mixed in. Yummmmmmmmy!

Then I went to one birthday party thing, then I came home... and began talking to a music producer I know who owns his own independant label. I showed him the rap I am working on and his reaction was:

"DAG DUDE THAT IS DOPE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"hugely dope"

So I asked "yah?" and he said "lovin it."

He's currently working on trying to make a beat that I like and can put the rap to. The rap isn't finished yet, but when it is, ya'll will get to see it in it's entirety right here on my blog...

For this evening, I am going to drop by Garrett's b-day thang, and then head on over to the Hilton comedy club hopefully for some side-splitting laughter...

'Till next time... peace out...

P.S. If you see a lot of nonsense and exclaimation points on monday mid-afternoon, that's because finals are done with and school's out for me for 5 1/2 weeks... so, yah, you've been warned.

Get Out and Vote

I understand that getting out and voting was extremely important for many, many people this year... but I never thought it was very important until today. As I was watching King of Queens there was a commercial from Burger King with Snoop Dogg telling me to go out and vote... It's December 9th... A month and 7 days later.... Sure, in 2000 the election still hadn't been decided by this time, but still, I don't understand why that commercial was on. Whateva!

If only chick's were as easy to figure out as Rubik's Cubes are... I can solve a Rubik's Cube in about a minute and a half... it'll take me a lifetime to figure out girls...

Chillin' at work...

Well, yet another person has decided to begin writing a blog from looking at mine... I really like the alyout of mine but I am getting a little bored with it... But I'll have to find a new one that I like to change, and it was hard enough finding this one and perfecting it...

So, I may drive all of the way out to Lemon Valley to cash my check tomorrow because I went to deposit some money today, and the girl who worked there was really cute... but it all depends on my laziness come tomorrow... I may just cash my check at a casino... but then gettin' out of the casino without spending it all. =)

Well, sorry for the lack of updates, but I had a final on Tuesday late afternoon, and then I have a paper which I still have to finish that is due tonight at 5:00pm... so, I am at work right now, and I gotta get working on my essay... gotta love my job.

Peace

Bangin'

I am very glad to see a lot less women with bangs. In a time period starting sometime earlier this year, many girls began to start getting their hair cut so they had bangs. It definitely wasn't something I enjoyed. I am very very glad that the fad of bangs has begun to start passing... and I hope it never comes back again. But like comets, fads come back around every once in a while, I think just to annoy me.

In other funny news, in W.T. class we were talking about dress sizes, and my teacher was funny, he was like "What are the sizes, like 0-16? 16, what's that, a tank?" It was humorous just the way he said it... I know I'll probably get crap for this part of the blog, but if I ain't gettin' crap for this it'd be something else...

Ping Puck

Well, blogger.com is stupid because I typed up this wonderfully great post last night and it said there was an error and lost my whole post... so, here's what ihad written.

I played this amazingly cool game last night called Ping Puck.... it's hockey played indoors with a ping pong ball and ping pong paddles. It's really fun. It's full contact too, so that's always fun. People diving everywhere (my knees are all scraped up and bruised). I also was checked into the wall but I got Mark back. It was such an amazing game... I also got what theysay was about 9 goals... I stopped counting after i got a hat trick... but they say it was approx. 9 goals.

I also got to hang out with my little brother for Big Brothers Big Sisters for the first time that wasn't at his school. It was a good time. We went to Jack in the Box and ate cuz we got free Pannidos. We also talked about the different kinds of fun things we can do on other weeks we hang out. Then we went to the YMCA to see what kinds of stuff we can do there (and we get in free so thats always good). We saw Amanda at the pool working not so hard. Then we played some racquetball, and then he beat me at HORSE. It was a wonderful time!

Cure for HIV/AIDS??

I usually don't report on news but this is fairly important hopefully...

http://my.webmd.com/content/Article/97/104268.htm

They think they have found a cure for aids that has worked in test animals and even humans...

Have it in your prayers...

Who Invented Kissing?

As I was watchin' Aladdin, and him and Jasmine first kissed, I began to wonder who invented kissing. When it comes to sex, I can understand that it was fairly easy to figure out... but kissing on the other hand would have been a lot harder to figure out. I dunno, but if you can find someone good to makeout with, then kissing is amazing!!

Just a random thought...

What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up

I know... to some people, the chances of me growing up are slim...

But people are always asking me what i want to be when I graduate in May. I haven't had an answer, until now.

I want to be a food critic. Sure, I may have to eat some crappy tasting food, but I can be blunt about it being crappy, instead of trying to swallow it as to not upset the person...

and everyone knows how much I love free food!!!

Thanks to Amanda's amazing cooking to inspire me to be a food critic!

No catchy title...

I am sitting right now, watching a movie for class... "Wag the Dog." I have seen it before, but I didn't remember it enough to be able to b.s. a paper about it... oh well.

Today I rapped for the first time really in public.... it was kind of crazy... I was the only one who remembered their rap... people said I did well... maybe they were just being nice... who knows

Work today took forever... but I didn't do much the first 3hours. I played games on my phone, and took like a 45minute nap, not straight, but most of the time in those 45mins.

Anyhow, that's all that's going on... I'll keep you peeps open to what's going on. =)

Happy 21st Birthday Laura!!!

Finally....

I have been trying for a few days now to sign in and write stuff.... but the stupid Blogger.co mthing stayed stuck on the page right before the post writing one... it was frustrating...

I have had a good past few days, minus the dumb broad... I was digging through old poems... Although most of you have probably read this on my poems page many times, this is one of my favorite poems. I thought of the concept for it in the shower on 3rd floor Lincoln (cuz they had cooler showers on the 3rd floor than the first so I hauled my butt up there daily for the shower). Here goes:

Taken
Taken, by the sound of your voice,
Taken, my heart leaves me no choice,
Taken, my legs quiver as I look at your face,
I am taken away, to that heavenly place,

Taken, by my fleshly desires,
Taken, as you lift me up higher,
Taken, but damn it's worth while,
I am taken back, by your angelic smile,

Taken, by the way your hair flows,
Taken, to where? No one knows,
Taken, my knees still are shakin',
But only to find out...You're taken.
